OUR MISSION
AS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM IN THE STOCKTON-LODI AREA, TOKAY WRESTLING STRIVES TO TEACH ITS WRESTLERS THE LESSONS THEY WILL NEED OFF THE MAT, WHEN THEY ENTER THE REAL WORLD. BY INSTILLING A COMMITMENT TO COMPETITION, EDUCATING THESE STUDENT-ATHLETES, AND ASKING OUR WRESTLERS TO SERVE THEIR COMMUNITY AS BEST AS THEY CAN. TOKAY WRESTLING BELIEVES SUCCESS IS DEFINED NOT BY THE AMOUNT OF CHAMPIONSHIPS EARNED ON THE MAT, BUT BY THE LIVES THEY LEAD OFF OF THE MAT.
COMPETE
In asking its wrestlers to commit to the process and compete in its purest and most disciplined form, Tokay Wrestling believes the act of competition and being fully prepared will not only reveal character but shape it so that it may serve the student-athlete when it really counts. Through winning and losing, our wrestlers will discover who they are and what that means as they prepare to graduate from Tokay High School with their diploma.
Educate
The Tokay Wrestling program, as a small learning community of Tokay High School, believes it is its job to educate, and in doing so, we equip each wrestler with the necessary tools to pursue a post-secondary career that is not only fulfilling and rewarding but one that works to help give back to the community at large.
SERVE
After all the training and all the days spent in the wrestling room, we at Tokay Wrestling believe the most important lesson one can learn in their time with us, is the lesson of service. Whether our student-athletes become a teacher, a fireman, a police officer, a doctor, a lawyer, or anything else they may find suitable for a career, it is our hope that each wrestler take these lessons we have worked so hard to instill and pass them on to future generations so that they may leave the world a better place.
